Michael Bishop attended L.C. Anderson High School in Austin, Texas, where he was a standout quarterback. He led the Yellow Jackets to success during the transition period from PVIL to UIL.
After high school, Michael attended Kansas State University where he became one of the most celebrated quarterbacks in school history. He was a Heisman Trophy finalist and led the Wildcats to a Big 12 Championship.
Michael went on to play in the NFL and CFL. His success at the collegiate and professional levels helped open doors for African American quarterbacks.
