George Walker, Sr. attended Moore High School in Waco, Texas where he was a standout football player. He was known for his athletic abilities and leadership on the field.
After high school, George attended Prairie View A&M University where he continued his football career. He was a key contributor to the Panthers football program.
George represents the generation of athletes who competed during the transition from PVIL to UIL integration. His achievements helped pave the way for future generations of African American athletes in Texas.
