Coach Caldwell attended high school in Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he participated in football, basketball and track. He began his coaching career at C. W. White High School in Arkansas. His undefeated seasons of 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991 earned him a "Coach of the Year" in District 25 in the state of Arkansas.
Before retiring in 1994, Otis Caldwell coached at Dunbar Middle School here in Fort Worth and earned a masters degree, Doctor of Philosophy degree in religious counseling and became an expert in Metaphysical Theology. His academic achievements earned recognition in International Who's Who of Professionals.
In addition to his coaching career, Dr. Caldwell is the founder of IIAA (Invest In America Associates) as its president. He is also a college scout for students interested in pursuing a higher education. He has been a generous donor of door prizes for our meetings and induction ceremonies.
