The late William McDonald Reed attended high school in Brownwood, Texas where he starred in basketball and football. After graduating from high school Reed went to Texas College in Tyler, Texas where he became an All American in football and was an outstanding boxer for the Texas College Steers. His coaching career included Greenville, Perberton and Wiley College. He retired from coaching in 1978. His contributions included directing major high school track meets as well as many basketball tournaments. He retired in 1978. TACCA is proud to induct Coach William McDonald Reed into our Hall of Honor.
