The late Timothy Austin, Jr. attended A.J. Moore High School in Austin where he participated in basketball, track and baseball. His coaching career included Colorado City, Texas, Washington High in Marlin, Como and Poly High Schools in Fort Worth. His Como team won the state 3-A title in the old Prairie View league. Coach Austin belonged to a number of professional organizations including the Texas African American Coaches Association and made a significant contribution to athletics. TAACA is delighted to induct Coach Austin into our Hall of Honor.
