Coach Terral attended Butler College High School where she is a graduate of Wiley College and has done additional study at Dillard University in New Orleans, University of Texas, Texas Woman's University for certification in Special Education and received her Master's Degree from Prairie View University. Her fifteen year coaching career began at Dunbar High School in Fort Worth in 1978 with the first organized girls basketball team in the history of the school. Her phenomenal record includes 8 district winners, 1 bi-district title, 5 times area representative; winner 1 time. Her teams were the only Fort Worth girls teams to be in regional 4 times with 1 tie in district and one runner-up in district.
Coach Terral has made a significant contribution to girls basketball at Dunbar and to the city of Fort Worth by participating in various tournaments including the winner of the Omega Psi Phi first all girl's tournament. Her record is a fantastic 290 wins, 119 losses and 1 tie.
