Coach Clark has been a member of the Texas High School Coaches Association for over twenty years where he coached at G.N. Carver in McGregor, Texas; Dunbar Sr. HS; Tech MS and Poly in Ft. Worth. He returned to Tech in 1986 where his girls track teams were outstanding in the state each year. Several of his football players were outstanding in college and the professional ranks.
After graduating from G.W. Carver HS, Coach Clark attended Paul Quinn where he was outstanding in football. He has done additional study and has made several outstanding contributions in the field of athletics. Raymond Clairbone played professional football from Tech as did Eric Jones from Poly.
His girls track teams won 4 straight state championships in Austin and several of his boys and girls athletes were outstanding in college. Coach Clark was chosen as the banquet speaker for the fourth reunion of the G.W. Carver HS in McGregor, Texas in 1990.
