Coach Garcia began his outstanding athletic career at Jackson High School in Rosenberg, Texas and continued it at Prairie View where he received his B.S. and M.A. Degrees. Since 1972 he has been a professional scout for several national football teams including the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, and Seattle Hawks. He also served as assistant general manager and director of player personnel in USFL Washington Federals. For 10 years he served as defensive coordinator for Bishop College. He is married and the father of 4 children and a proud new grandfather.
