Big John graduated from Douglass High School in Memphis, Tennessee, where he participated in football, basketball, track and field. After starring in football at Wiley College, he received his MA Degree and Administrative Certificate from North Texas State University. Coach Kincaide began his coaching career at Booker T. Washington in Dallas in 1960. In 1968 he moved to J.N.Ervin where he retired from coaching in 1969. Currently, John is Athletic Director in DISD.
