Bill Toles currently resides in Dallas, Texas. A graduate of Spigner High School in Calvert, Texas, Bill lettered in football and track. Bill has an undergraduate degree from Bishop College and an M.S. degree from Prairie View A&M University. Mr. Toles has done additional degree work at Atlanta University and the University of California.
Mr. Toles coached at Marshall High School in Angleton, Texas from 1950-1965 and Lincoln High School from 1965 to his retirement. During his coaching tenure, he compiled the enviable record of four state championships, three Prairie View Interscholastic League Championships, one UIL state championship and eleven district championships. Coach Toles was TSU Track Coach of the year in 1959 and UIL track coach of the year in 1970.
